Well, here I sit at nearly half one in the morning wondering if I have anything interesting to write....
It was my day off today, although I have arranged to bury someone on Monday next week. Anyway, I spent the day re-writing my web site and setting up links to my blog and 'stumbleUpon' accounts. Really interesting. I should really have tidied my office and set up my younger son's wireless connection for Ubuntu (a very good Linux distribution, which is free and way better than the intrusive rubbish which is Vista). But tidying is dull, if necessary, and fiddling with PC setups is too much like hard work....so here I am writing drivel just to put some sort of entry up here.
Well, tomorrow is - as they say - another day.....

Hello! I've stumbled across your blog. Well, I can commiserate with you on Vista as I'm currently learning what isn't compatible with it.
I find your mention of 'culture of blandness' to be interesting. I do agree with you, but I wonder if the root of that is lack of character, and/or lack of character based in morality. My husband and I were discussing this recently, and as such he was moved to write about this on his blog (Sleepybearhollow)
It would be interesting for me/us to share ideas with you on this. :)

We completely understand busy, and sometimes our own posting is sporadic depending on time/schedule. If anything, these blogs allow for a creative outlet in an otherwise hectic world! I found your words/thoughts interesting, so I hope a dialogue may occur in the future.
